Every role is different, each engagement varies based on the role and how much of the process you’d like me to handle. Some companies want help defining the role and writing the job description. Our goal is that it takes you as little time as possible. You should not spending time going through portfolios that essentially tell you nothing, and trying to source candidates on LinkedIn or in online UX communities. Your time is more valuable than that. 

And finding UX candidates today shouldn’t involve you becoming a UX influencer to try and attract people to your talent pipeline.  

We promise clear and fast communication at every step to eliminate endless email chains and meetings that could have been an email.

• I find the talent for you in my talent pool of 850 UX designers, researchers, writers, and product people that I’ve been curating since 2021.
• You get a shortlist of candidates with context from me about why they’re a fit and what they bring to to the role in terms of craft, thinking, business fluency, and culture.

The timeline varies depending on the role.  Our turnaround averages 3 – 4 weeks for permanent hires. Contracts roles tend to move more quickly. 

Given our UX talent pool of 850+ and growing, we pull from a wide range of UX practitioners with expertise in various industries including health care, cybersecurity, e-commerce, finance, education, and more. 

Many recruiters are matching keywords against a database of people they’ve never met. I know these candidates and understand not just what’s on their resume or in their portfolio but how they think, collaborate, and communicate.

I’ve worked in UX for 20+ years as a UX researcher, design, and product strategist. 

For the past decade I’ve been helping UX and product people with their portfolios and job search, and in 2021 founded Career Strategy Lab, my UX job search accelerator. It is not a bootcamp. We only focus on helping UX and product people articulate their value and navigate the job search. I also created the original curriculum for General Assembly’s first UX bootcamp back in 2012. 

I also frequently speak at conferences worldwide including Hatch Conference (Berlin), Future Product Days (Copenhagen), Productized (Lisbon), Industry (Cleveland), UX London, AIGA, UXLX (Lisbon), and more.
